Reservations
The recommended time for placing a reservation is one -1- week in advance. In order for Brian's Buddies to guarantee care for your pet we need an advanced notice in the event your usual pet care specialist is over booked or we are filled due to seasonal scheduling. To make a reservation, you can contact us via phone/text at 718.708.1007 or email.
If you are a new client please take into account that an initial 'meet & greet' and key exchange must occur prior to the start of any services. It is best to call us as soon as possible when starting this process for the first time. Though we at Brian's Buddies pride ourselves in being efficient and easy for all, often the set up process takes a few days to incorporate into your pet care specialist schedule.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation notification is required to be made at least 24 hours prior to service. Notification before 10am the day of service will accrue a cancellation fee of $10 and notification after 10am the day of service will accrue a full charge for services. Furthermore, if we arrive at your home for pet care services and your pet is not available or if we are unable to gain access to your dwelling during a scheduled service, you will be fully charged for pet care services. Periodically a second lock will be accidentally locked or a quirky door will be jammed, errors that are at no fault of ours. Other times a client forgets to cancel and leaves with their pet. Regardless our pet care specialists come prepared and travel through any weather, we feel their time should be respected and in so doing charge such services in full.
Payment
Payment is due as services are rendered. Regular clients are billed weekly for accrued services and payment is due the Friday of that week. Certain services require partial or full payment in advance. We accept credit cards, cash and checks.
Payment via checks should be made payable to "Brian's Buddies." Checks can be mailed or left with your pet care specialist. Mail can be sent to us at "Brian's Buddies; 100 Stuyvesant Place, P4; Staten Island, NY 10301"
Payment via cash may be left in home in an envelope written out to 'Brian's Buddies' for your pet care specialist to pickup.
Please be advised, Brian's Buddies reserves the right to terminate services if overdue balances persist for over a period of time or exceeds $150.00.

Entrance Access
Our service times include the time entering and leaving your dwelling. Apartment residents are required to hand a set of -2- keys for building and apartment entrance to Brian's Buddies.
Inclement Weather
Although we are prepared to care for your pets in most weather conditions, we do have to allow for inclement weather .
To ensure the safety of your dog, as well as our pet care specialists, regularly scheduled walks are cancelled when local government offices are closed due to inclement weather. If there are no closures, we will get to your home to care for your pet as soon as safety permits.
In the event of extreme weather conditions (such as thunderstorms or extreme heat or cold), dogs will be taken out long enough to relieve themselves - the remainder of the visit will be spent indoors playing and having fun. Please let us know if your pet has difficulty in any type of weather and would prefer that we spend time with your pet doing something other than an outdoor activity.

Dogs' Behavior and Health Care
Brian's Buddies requires that all dogs remain current with the following vaccinations: rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordatella. We also require that all dogs receive regular treatments of a topical flea preventative. Dogs that are not spayed or neutered will be unable to participate in group services. Brian's Buddies reserves the right to refuse any services or use of its facilities for dogs who, in its sole determination, are unhealthy, act aggressively, are undisciplined, evidence inappropriate behavior or who may otherwise be a danger to themselves or other animals or users. Brian's Buddies does not take any responsibility for any damage that may occur to your dog’s leash, collar or harness while in our care. Furthermore, Brian's Buddies will not be held liable for any illness or ailment which a dog may incur while in the presence of other dogs at the facility or in Brian's Buddies' care for any reason, or otherwise. You must undertake full responsibility for your dog and his or her actions. As our client, you agree to assume the risks and hazards that might be expected to arise from such use of our services and your dog's interaction with other animals. Brian's Buddies shall not be responsible, monetarily or otherwise, for injuries to your dog that may arise in the course of play which may be caused by the presence or actions of other dogs. Client hereby agrees to indemnify, save hold harmless and defend Brian's Buddies and our employees resulting from any costs, damages, claims or expenses (including veterinarian's fees), that may result from an injury or illness to your dog, or to another dog, if caused by your dog.
Emergency Care
In the event that something should happen to your pet that requires medical attention, we will do everything possible to obtain the right treatment for your pet in a timely manner. In the event that we are unable to reach you in a timely manner for whatever reason, we reserve the right to make medical decisions on your behalf for the care of your pet. You will be responsible for any veterinarian bills that result from getting your pet the medical attention that he or she needs.
Acknowledgement and Waiver
By utilizing our services you consent that you have read our policies page in its entirety, agree and understand all of its contents completely, and acknowledge that Brian's Buddies has limited liability regarding certain occurrences and incidents that may occur regarding your pet. While we take every precaution possible to ensure that all of the dogs in our care are healthy and safe, the client must recognize that incidents will happen whenever dogs socialize together and that we take no responsibility regarding these incidents. Brian's Buddies is not liable for injuries or illnesses that any animal may incur while in our care.
